Snoring, the thought of a freight train comes to mind when I think about their snoring.  It's actually quite relaxing when my wife and dogs snore in harmony. Are they good watch dogs?  Not if you mean would they attack someone entering your home. They may intimidate a stranger. Because of their temperament, Bulldogs simply won't act like a trained attack dog. They may bark, and make no mistake they will protect their family if they feel they are in danger.  A lady who got a puppy from me told me that when the whole family is together her dog is a teddy bear but when she is traveling alone with the dog, a strange man cannot approach her. How are Bullies with children and other dogs? I have 2 kids and usually a few more from the neighborhood and have had no problems with the dogs and kids or strangers.  I have 2 Boston Terriers and have had no problems with any of the dogs.  Other people have brought their dogs and my bullies just wanted to play with them. As for activity the 2 I have play together for maybe an hour than they have to take a 3 hour nap.  And as for stubbornness all I can say its part of their charm.  Coco loves to take a bath, Xena hates it, so when I bathe them Xena ignores me for the rest of the day.  When I go outside with Xena and the flowers have bloomed I better not be in a hurry because she has to stop and smell every one of them.  This breed is very unique and if you ever wanted one and finally get one you'd wish you would have gotten it sooner.  It's not uncommon for people who love the breed to end up with more than one.
